Very well done to our Heads of School, Prefects and House Captains, who hosted their second afternoon tea recently, this time for the maintenance team to thank them for all their hard work. Pupils did a fantastic job in writing and sending invites, serving tea and cake, and leading conversations with their guests - and they even got to use the radios! “We were very impressed by the manners and politeness of all the pupils involved,” said Mr Glover from the maintenance team. “It was a joy to hear pupils’ stories of the jobs they wanted to do later in life from solicitor to geologist, archaeologist to palaeontologist, and actor to hedge fund manager. I think the country will be in safe hands when we all get old.” Well done, team; what a lovely initiative and a real treat for our deserving support staff.
