1. Categories of Membership

1. To qualify for joint memberships each member must reside at the same address.
2. To be included in the family membership children must be aged  18 and under and residing at the same address as other family members.
3. To qualify for the Senior Citizen Couple membership both partners must be aged 60 or over at the time of joining.
4. Children under the age of 4 years do not need to be included on the membership application.
5. Port Regis children are automatically members of the Sports Club

2.  Details of Membership

1. Joining Fee (all fees are inclusive of VAT)

• All members must pay an initial one-off joining fee which covers the Clubs administration costs.  This fee must be paid at the time of joining and is non-refundable.
• The joining fee is applicable to each membership rather than the number of people joining on the membership

3.   Subscriptions

1. Subscriptions are paid at the time of joining.  Memberships are for a period of  12 months.
2. Motcombe Park Sports Club reserves the right to, at any time, refuse any application for membership, to cancel or suspend the membership of any members and refuse admission to any member or guest of a member where there are reasonable grounds for doing so
3. Renewal subscriptions must be paid by the end of the month following expiry.  Renewals paid after this time will incur a further joining fee.
4. Membership may be terminated in extenuating circumstances. One months notice will be charged for cancellations.
5. Members who wish to place their membership on hold for medical, domestic or business reasons may do so though a holding charge of £7.50 per calendar month will be incurred.

4.  General Conditions of Membership

1. Members are expected to observe all rules and regulations established by the Sports Club. Disregard of said rules and regulations will result in the cancellation of membership and the forfeiting of the joining fee including any membership fees already paid.
2. All members are welcome to bring guests to the Club but we kindly ask that this is limited to a maximum of 6 times per year.  A guest fee must be paid prior to the activity.
3. For security reasons members:-
   • Must carry their membership cards at all times
   • Are prohibited from walking around the main school grounds without express permission. Membership cards are issued to all current members.  Cards are not transferable and any membership being found to be being used by a person other than the authorised members will result in the cancellation of the authorised users Membership without a refund of joining fee or subscription paid.
4. Replacement cards will result in a charge of £3.00.
5. The facilities may only be used during the normal opening hours determined by the Sports Club
6. Motcombe Park Sports Club reserves the right to change the published programme and timetable at any time.

5.  Physical Activity

1. Members are responsible for monitoring their won physical condition throughout any activity undertaken at the Club.  Should any unusual symptoms occur they must immediately refrain from participation and advise a member of staff.
