Welcome to the English Department!

Reading in classThere is a great deal of creative writing done in the school, including award-winning poetry and prose. Some of this can be seen here on the site and will be added to every few weeks through term time.

At Port Regis we have visiting authors , who come to share their enthusiasm and skill with pupils. These have included William Nicholson, G.P. Taylor, Gillian Cross and Jeremy Strong.

In the Library section you will find some recommended reading for your age-group.

One of the really popular events each term is the Book Fair where a huge variety of books is available. Adults and children enjoy seeing what is new and making their selections.
