Sport at Port Regis

The main team games are Rugby, Football, Hockey and Cricket for boys, and Hockey, Netball, Rounders and Tennis for girls. Teams in all but the very youngest age groups compete most successfully in inter-school matches, and Port Regis is proud of its outstanding reputation for sporting excellence. The School has its own nine-hole Golf Course, extensive playing fields and an all-weather Hockey Pitch, as well as a Rifle Range.

 

The Indoor Sports Complex, which includes two Sports Halls, serves as a National Centre for Junior Gymnastics and provides expert coaching with the finest equipment for beginners and National-Team members alike.

 

There are also squash courts, a 25m Swimming Pool, indoor Cricket Nets, and facilities for Judo, Karate, Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball and Fencing. Several specialist coaches in Gymnastics, Swimming, Martial Arts and Racquet Sports augment the School's games-coaching staff.
