Chris Holloway holds a degree in Land Economics from the College of Estate Management, London University. After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor with Jones Lang and Weatheralls in Brussells and Paris in the late sixties, and after taking an MBA at the Institut Européen d’Administration d’Affaires (Insead) at Fontainebleau in 1972, he set up the leading Parisian commercial property development company Capital & Continental. He is Vice-President of the RICS in France, sits on the INSEAD Property Committee, and is Past President of the French Government-sponsored Observatoire Régionale de l’Immobilier d’Entreprise (ORIE). His daughter was at Port Regis from 1990-1996 and he was appointed a Governor in 1995. He advises the School on matters relating to building development and is a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee.
