Maths Websites
At Port Regis all dedicated Maths classrooms have computer projectors and have access to a wide range of software as well as excellent new Maths internet sites.
The following are a selection of Maths sites that we have found useful, but sites are forever developing and being created so it is far from an exhaustive list.
Some of them (even government sponsored ones!!!) have some questionable mathematics in them, so do be discriminating in how you use them.
Maths Software
We can also recommend some good Maths software, most of which is available from large dealers like REM on 01458 353636. Some of the Dorling Kindersley titles, however, may be best ordered direct from DK on 0870 8420000.
This is just a small selection of what is out there in an ever-growing market, but these titles have been tried and tested by us at Port Regis and found to be worthwhile. I have not listed any of the software which we use at Port Regis since I would wish to avoid any clashes between work at school and work at home. Good luck!
