THE EXAM
60 minutes (ordinary time) 75 minutes (extra time)
   
Part A:  Evidence Questions (20 marks)
20 minutes 25 minutes
You will be given three sources and will have to answer four questions.
Part A will be set out just like the ones you have seen before.
   
Part B:  Essay
You will have to choose one question, but in two sections.
a) Describe…(20 marks)  
20-25 minutes 30 minutes
AND  
b) Explain…(10 marks)  
15 minutes 20 minutes
(Your answers to a) and b) will both be on the same topic.)

 

The exam evidence questions this term will be on The Black Death. 

  • Look through the pamphlet again, (but you are not writing an essay on it in this exam).
  • Go through the evidence work we have done before.  See where you went wrong and what you must remember this time.
  • Be sure that you know exactly how to tackle each of the four questions.

You are expected to answer an essay question on The Peasants’ Revolt in this term’s exam.

  • Learn thoroughly all of your work on the Peasants’ Revolt. 
  • Remember the section headings and the layout, to help you choose the right details to answer parts a) and b) of the question.

Be sure to ask LDS/JR if there is something you do not understand!
