Stalbridge is the house is for young boys up to the age of eleven and it is situated right at the top of the Mansion House.

Lots of children live in Stalbridge:

 

C formers: 10-11 years

D formers: 9–10 years

E & F formers: 7-9 years

 

Everyone gets on well and we have a lot of fun.

 

Dormitory Captains are A formers (12-13 years) or B formers (11-12 years) who are in the house to help sort out problems and help you settle in. They are always really friendly but they do expect you to behave thoughtfully. Here are some guidelines:

 

 

The dormitories vary in size, some have 4 beds in them and others have up to 8. The  dormitories are nicely decorated and all beds have a bedside locker and a reading light.

 

 

Everyone has some time to read in bed before they settle for the night. Often a Matron or Gap will read a story that helps you to relax before turning off  your light to sleep.

 

There is always a Houseparent and a Matron on duty overnight in Stalbridge, so if you are finding it difficult to sleep or are feeling unwell, there is always someone you can go to for help.
