It is hugely gratifying, as well as encouraging, to see how highly both the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) and OFSTED graded Port Regis during their inspections of the school.
The ISI not only picked-up on the several indicators of conventional success (academic and extra-curricular), but also the less tangible, but what we believe to be more important, aspects of school life that identify the civilised conduct, moral and spiritual development, and overall happiness of the children.
Port Regis is one of the very few Prep Schools in the country with a substantial number of boarders, and the ISI report's overwhelmingly positive verdict on the quality of the boarding provision here chimes harmoniously with the most recent OFSTED Pastoral Care Report, which rated Port Regis' pastoral care provision as "Outstanding" in every single category.
