Claire Macdonald was educated at Roedean School. She lives in Donhead St Andrew near Shaftesbury and was a Port Regis parent for twelve years. Claire was Chair of the Mothers’ Committee which became Friends of Port Regis, and was on the Development Committee for the Farrington Music School. Claire ran a children’s nursery business for fifteen years in Wiltshire and Dorset and she is on the Independent Monitoring Board of Guys Marsh Prison. She became a Governor in 2005 and is Chairman of the Governance and Nomination Committee.
